About Us

The Orange County Curling Club was founded in 2010 and is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation. The primary objectives and purposes of this corporation are (1) to teach, develop, promote, and encourage the sport of curling; (2) to foster local social and competitive competition; (3) to foster national, international, and Olympic amateur competition; and (4) to support and develop the capabilities of amateur athletes in order to participate in national, international, and Olympic competition.

Most of our members compete in club leagues and events throughout our yearlong season. Many travel to other clubs and participate in social & competitive bonspiels (tournaments), and some compete with an eye towards national and international competitions, such as USA Curling’s 5-&-Under National Championships, Arena National Championships, and Club National Championships.

As of May 2024, we curl out of the Lakewood Ice facility in Lakewood, CA. We are also affiliated with the Mountain Pacific Curling Association (MoPac) and the US Curling Association (or USA Curling).

As a club, it is our goal to grow the sport of curling and to promote the values that curling embraces: honor, integrity, fellowship, and teamwork... Come join us!
